Drag Queens take to the SKY!

The Sydney Tower Eye offers new Drag SKYWALK & Sip tours during WorldPride

SYDNEY, Wednesday 25 January 2023 – Have you ever wanted to learn more about the colourful, rainbow history of Sydney? In celebration of Sydney WorldPride, the Sydney Tower Eye is hosting a series of limited edition, Drag SKYWALK & Sip experiences, led by two local Sydney-based Drag Queens!

 

For a limited time only, Miss Seafood Paella, Luna Sparks and Mynx Moscato will be joined by an expert guide in leading these unique SKYWALK tours – shining a spotlight on the colourful history of Sydney.

During the tours, the Queens will point out local LGBTQI+ landmarks, including Kings Cross, the ‘Rainbow Ribbon’ and the world-famous Oxford Street, sharing colourful tales of the epicentre of Sydney’s Mardi Gras – Oxford Street.

Following the SKYWALK tour, guests will enjoy a signature cocktail and charcuterie board at Sydney Tower’s, Bar 83.

Guests will have the opportunity to strike a pose with their loved ones and the queens - flying the progressive pride flag high above our beautiful harbour-side city.

The Drag SKYWALK & Sip package includes:

The Drag SKYWALK & Sip tours will run twice daily at 3:00pm and 4:00pm across just three select dates:

SKYWALK at The Sydney Tower Eye allows guests to step out into the open air on the tallest building in Sydney for a breath-taking 60-minute tour. Guests will be walking on air at the highest outdoor viewpoint (268m) in this city, with the CBD directly beneath your feet.
